Jesse and I met over 10 years ago at work- on a day he still won't let me live down, thanks to a hole in my shirt (which definitely did not exist) and my nonstop stories about my two dogs, Legend and Alpha. Meanwhile, he was busy talking about his love life...which ironically, one day became me.

From the start, we were complete opposites. Jesse is everything I am not- talkative, outgoing, charismatic, and effortlessly charming. If anyone knows Jesse, he loves to socialize and make friends EVERYWHERE! I prefer to stay in my bubble, but Jesse had other plans.

Somewhere between all the talking, laughing, and him refusing to be ignored, we built something real.

Fast forward to now- we've created a beautiful life full of chaos. A home, a teenager, toddler, two tortoises, three dogs, a cat, and our newly added fish. It's loud, chaotic, and slightly out of control... but it's us, and we love it.

At the end of the day, we may be total opposites- but somehow, it works perfectly. And if there is one thing we have learned, is that the best things in life usually don't make sense...until they do.
